The Edward Dee Fund has funded the planting, and maintaining of the gardens near the fire station in Lytham, with the help and support of Greg Anderton, Leafy Lytham, and with the water being supplied by Marc's Garage. 

 

With the help of several volunteers making up the Garden TEAM #forEdward, Phase 1 Edward's Garden was tidied and weeded, Phase 2 we planted summer colour. Phase 3 the Garden was tidied again, summer bedding removed and replaced with winter planting and the addition of hundreds of bulbs ready to add a splash of spring colour.

 

If you're able to help with the planting sessions, or if you're able to offer a small amount of time ... even just as a one off, to deadhead the plants and pull out the odd weed, please get in touch.

If you're a community group, of whatever age, and can get involved with helping us to keep this garden looking lovely, if you have an idea of a project that will link to this garden project, please get in touch.

We're hoping to engage with as many members of the public as we can with the planting, maintaining, and using of the garden area, thus #raisingawareness of the charity whilst working with, and putting back into the community.
